Wanting to buy a helmet cam - 2 obvious choices: Contour or GoPro.
I believe they're both made well; just wondering if there are absolute stand-out points to raise one above the other.
The ContourGPS is really interesting too - adds another level of "gadget cool" that the GoPro doesn't have. And you can pair it with your iPhone to use as a view-finder-sight.
But you can buy the ContourHD 1080 for $120. Hard to argue with that.
A couple friends have the Contour and mount it on their goggles, but I'm not a big fan of that perspective. Obviously there are other mounting options too.
Any recommendations, please let me know.

The Shop
But video looks good from both.
The GoPro is easy peasy too use with gloves on.
I have never used the Contour.
A couple of my friends have GoPro's and the footage is amazing, the only problem is its hard to tell whether you're recording or not and because it has a whole heap of features if you aren't to great with technology it can be a slight pain working out what mode you're recording.

My GoPro was noisy also, The mount between the base pad and the bottom of the GoPro was making a racket, i put some foam in there to keep it quite, works a treat.
Cheers.
