No Indy1 winner thread yet? Well, let me be the first to give kudos to Ken Roczen for the Indy win. Aside from an off-track excursion he rode great, showed grit & determination. Good job!

Those were my thoughts as well. That was a good win for him. He looks focused on the championship.

Finally Roczen proved he can pass quick if it matters. Odd while im typing that, while this is actually krocs strength. Lately it seemed like he is very carefull in that. So happy he managed to win! this gonna be a good season

I thought after Tomac got around him after the off track excursion it was done. What happened afterwards was great, Kenny might be playing this whole “I’m a Zen boy” card but the bad mf’er from 2016 outdoors is still lurking deep down baby!!!

Coming into this 21 SX season with flashbacks of fading from SLC last spring, I was blown away by the resilience and shear willpower that K Roc demonstrated last night - and all season honestly, save one lapper incident. Kenny has found another ‘mental’ gear I believe and is showing the heart of a champion more than ever. It is a bit like his early KTM 250 days where his youthful honesty and balls out swagger is now tempered with experience, wisdom and a measured confidence. Fucking love it.

Good clean racing by KR,ET and AC.
Unfortunate Ken’s points lead isnt better.
Yeah, but his attitude appears to be.

Had something to prove. Mission accomplished.

Very good clean racing by front-runners.

Tip of the imaginary cap to Ken for giving Tomac the lead after his off-track adventure. He could have easily entered the track ahead of Eli, but instead slowed and allowed him to pass. That was a classy, and smart, move, although KR probably knew he had more speed than ET.

Classy, great racing. I was hugely impressed by Kenny taking the lead back after he let Eli bye.

Ralph would have said that was a statement (and he'd say it like 10 times) Grinning

Also impressed by Zacho and Webb. Plenty of solid rides, the season keeps getting better every round.

For me that win was up there as one of the biggest of his career and one of his best rides. He had to make passes and withstand pressure the entire time, he had the win in his grasp and he threw it away, and then he went and won it again. He’s had a few wins now since he came back from his injury, but nearly all of them have been holeshot and check out type wins, this was the first one where he’s really had to fight for it and he’s got the job done. A fantastic performance and a huge weight lifted after last week I’m sure

His Dean Wilson thing kind of soured his win a little. It was an unfortunate thing, but blowing his lid and RC demanding an apology was all pretty over the top.

But, it’s racing and unfortunately that’s the way it goes. DW15’s career took a hit.

Kenny behind AC with Tomac breathing down his neck was great stuff. Ken was faster than AC but wouldn't pull anything but a clean pass to get around him even at the risk of giving up second to Eli. And Eli wasn't about to get dirty with Kenny. Those three class-acts battling out front was one of my favorite moments ever in SX.
