He’s gotta be beyond stoked to have earned that win after announcing retirement.

Dude is a fucking beast. Can’t believe he’s my age and still dishing out wins against the best.

Congratulations indeed 🤘

I was at 2009 MXdN in Italy and it was latvian rider who caused Cairoli crash and certain win for Italy. Today it was latvian rider who Lupino passed to secure one crucial point. It went full circle. All is well in the Universe.

Great punctuation on a phenomenal career.

To be competitive against the world’s best is an achievement at any age. To be competitive for that long, at his current age, is next-level.

I’ve also never heard a bad thing said about him as a person, which is even more rare among riders at his level.

He has had some tough luck at the Nations in previous years, no better time for it to finally turn on home soil at his last shot.

Most entertaining race of the year as usual. Total nail bitter. Pumped for Tony and all the teams that participated

I said Inn the original mxon thread that without the US there was no mxon, and as usual I have to eat my words, that was epic! Finally Tony did it! What a race! And I’m going to Red Bud💯😂

It was ironically cool that Tony was running number 46. It's like The Doctor was on the team in spirit.

So cool.

They also stomped the world at ISDE, Italian fans have a lot to be proud of.

Best racing of the season. One of the best mxon in history. Total nail bitter to the end. Perfect cap on a incredible career for AC.

I guess I didn't watch the same race. One of the best in history? Hardly. The only drama I saw was whether the FIM would deliver a fitting penalty to Lupino which they didn't imho. It's cool for Cairoli, a really nice way to cap off his career but the track cutting needs to stop.

What a great way to wind down an incredible career.
An absolute giant of the sport. And best of all comes across as a humble and genuine nice guy which I love to see from a champion.

Go faster, eat pasta
