1-1. That was a very solid showing on a brutal track against very tough competition. Good job RJ. He rode hard and deserved that one. I think he will have a great showing next year.

Great riding by RJ, biggest win of his career so far.

I'm sure his sponsors are pumped on that performance.

Damn good effort for sure, was he on one of the 2018's or his 2017 race bike?

Yeah that was a great ride.
I thought he would be good, he was great at Southwick and Millville and also other rounds.
Didn't expect a 1-1 though.
When he went full kamikaze at the beginning of moto 1 I didn't think he would last all 30 minutes.

Proved be wrong a couple of times today. And also he had last gatepick in both motos after his DNF yesterday

He rode great and wanted it badly. Impressed with his composure under pressure after his crash in moto one and again when the Suzuki duo were hunting him down in moto two at the end. He has always been very fast but mentally he was very strong today too.

Didn't they say he didn't have a ride for next year.?
Didn't he sign a 1yr. contract with Geico, wasn't happy with the KTM @ Troy Lee Designs.
If that's true, he would be a good pickup for Pro Circuit Kawasaki
(bye bye Hill, great 2017 outdoor season)

I think RJ is signed for next year. Hill is on JGR already

So cool. Love seeing breakout rides from these guys coming up and even cooler to do it at your home GP.

His sand skills have to put him in contention for the next MXdN that is held at one of the Europe Sand tracks. He's like 5 places better than his normal results as soon as the dirt gets loose.

Hey DPW, how have you been buddy??? You still ride?
I haven't talked to you in a long time... 2 years ago my son was riding my bike outcat River Valley and crashed and broke his femur pretty bad. I wasn't there that day because I had just had Fusion surgery on my back a couple of weeks earlier. Our house was a mini hospital for awhile..
Hope you and your wife are doing well...

Great ride,2 superb starts too from a 30+ gate pick,he really dug deep to fight off that late challenge too,he's been threatening to win a National for a while now ,he certainly is fast enough

Shame Cianciarullo hurt himself and obviously the 23 yr old rule prevented Osbourne and many more racing, still great a days racing though

I think RJ signed with Geico for the rest of his 250 career, so maybe another 2 year deal? I think youre thinking about Jordan Smith who was with Geico and then went to TLD KTM this year. I think the Geico boys are probably pretty excited to have this new bike.

I was against the fence right at the hole shot signs. As he blitzed the following section and disappeared over the first table, my brother and I looked at each other like "well, this moto is all but over". It was his day for sure.
