Didn't "fluke" into it, either, Dan. Even through pit stops, he carried 8th to 10th and was right there the whole time. It looked like the #4 wouid finish 4, but he slid back just a single position at the flag.

RC now sits 12th in points and just a handful out of tenth. Not too bad for a two wheel guy.

That kid is a racer, his parents didn't raise no "second placers". He is out there giving it his all and isn't afraid to keep trying even if he isn't winning. A lesser man would have come up with a multi excuse barrage and pulled out when the series wasn't going his way.

I'd just like to point out how fugging amazing a 5th place is in the Camping World series.

Not only did Ricky pull it off, he did it in convincing style by surviving in the top ten for a complete race. There are guys who would kill for those single race stats.

Back to the top-10, RC. "You got MO".

Yeah .. I sense a bit of sarcasm in this post..lol It's a good thing that 99% of Nascars income comes from their TV packages. If it was based on that crowd they'd be fcked.

INCREDIBLE racing...and in Virginia where they really want the Premier series.

As you see, the NASCAR crowd is "fickle" too.

These guys are just happy to race, and possibly get noticed.

I enjoyed the show.
