I haven't seen it mentioned on here, but last night Mike Brown announced that Ontario would be his last Endurocross race. The guy has been a huge inspiration for me and continues to defy age like nobody else. He came into the night third in points behind only Colton and Cody, and although I think he slipped back to fourth once the night concluded, that is still a very impressive series result. Every time I've talked to him he has been very friendly and seems like a really nice guy, and I'm sad that this was probably the last time that I'll see him race. Considering what he has accomplished throughout his career and just how long it's spanned is simply remarkable, truly one of the best in every disipline he rode. Watching him jump the entire water pit lap after lap consistently last year at the Sacramento round is still the most incredible thing I have ever seen on a motorcycle, the skill and confidence it took to pull that off is something I can't even image. Congrats Mike and thanks for giving us such a great show through the years.

Let's get some pics going, post em if ya got em!

I dunno man... Dowdy definitely gets a tip of the hat in this department, but Brown racing ISDT's and Endurocross on a highly competitive level this late into his career is pretty damn impressive..

I agree. Brownie is a badass.

I just think saying he defies age like nobody else is pushing it.

Mike Brown is such an amazing dude on and off any kind of track. OP - I have a feeling we will see him race again even if not full time. Anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of meeting him, go talk to him next time you see him. Great guy!

hahaha sometimes Endurocross goes bigger than SX. The few I've went to there has been some jumps I was like "No F'n way" SX, I never say that.

True legend, how many years ago was it that he qualified for a national?
Edit: And if I remember correctly, he was able to score some points too!

Congrats on an awesome career!

Dude is a beast. Any reason why calling it quits now? Age? Tired of Travel?
All of the above?

He should be someone's off-road team manager.

When I talked to him very briefly after the race I got the impression it was travel, since he mentioned he would probably do races every now and then that are close to home. That is just what I gathered though, by no means should that be taken as fact but it makes sense to me.

Good stuff so far guys, thanks for contributing!

Seriously, other than Steve Wise, he might be considered the most accomplished motorcycle rider across numerous disciplines.
