It's gotta be said. The team everyone used to joke about has been steadily putting their heads down and got themselves a Daytona 450 win. It's gotta feel good.

Congratulations guys.

That's their first ever SX win, right? Mad props to them. Awesome to see a private team like that land on top after years off work.

You wonder how many millions it took to get that first SX win?

They've come a long way since the MCR 450. In a time when these privately funded teams are folding up, these guys are getting stronger. Helluva job!

Man i was super nervous for brayton on those last few laps lol i wanted him to get that win bad! Stoked for him and the team. Brayton says nothing but good things about the team and the people involved. Super awesome to see him get the win, and the record for the oldest 450 main event winner. I think that records gunna stand for a long long time.

They're definitely doing something right. Very cool how and where the first win came. Sometimes the smart come out on top. Tonight, the smart topped them all.

Genova drops the Mic and folds up MCR after the season. HAHA. Just kidding....that was an awesome win for Brayton and the team! I was biting my nails the last couple laps. Wonder how nervous JB was!

Yep, always good when wins go outside the big circles, good for the sport!

Probably less than the manufacturers are spending

Oh for sure! Not arguing that! My point was more, “hey, look at this private team spending a TON of money to go racing in our small sport we love”. We should be very appreciative of people like Genova.

I was around that team from its infancy. It’s amazing to watch them grow from a shit show to the #1 Honda Supercross race team in the world. Congratulations Mike and Tony. I hope this is the first of many victories for you!

What a dedicated team. He has stuck with it and learned as he goes how to get better.

They now have 1 more win than Team Honda this year!

Pretty amazing to see, and to lead pretty much the whole way, mistake free while others made plenty was impressive.

Amazing to see how Tony has turned things around personally, and to see Brayton get that W is why we watch. Pretty incredible. Makes you wonder what the rest of the guys are thinking if he can win?

Congrats! Its always great for the sport when smaller satellite teams wins at an elite level. Much deserved for a lot of hard work.

Congratulations on the win, to the team and all supporters. A Daytona win, that is what every team or manufacturer would love to display.
