I've got 4 kids...and I had that same look right after my 1st was born...and my second, and third, aaaannnnndddd fourth. Lol

It's a combo of exhaustion (why can't women go into labor anytime but the middle of the night?), fear, and just plain not knowing what to expects.

The trip home from the hospital with a newborn, that is one weird drive home but then after a couple months you can't even remember what it's like without kids.
