Fastway says their pegs do not work in the lower position on Yamaha and Flo says that they are not certain if their pegs are actually lower than stock because they think that Yamaha lowered the pegs in 2019. Does anyone have a set of pegs that they can confirm are lower than stock 2019 YZ250F?

That's B.S. I have Fastway low pegs on my 19 YZ450 and the 250 has same mounts.

system tech racing makes lower mounts for yamahas.

https://www.systemtechracing.com/category_s/285.htm

Not sure if they make them for newer models though, I'd call and ask.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at System Tech because I saw it in a thread for tall guys but I didn't see anything for the four strokes. I will search their site some more tho.

Thanks for the reply. Are they lower than your stock ones were? 12mm lower?

Yes. About a half inch lower. I can post a pic later if you want.

Thanks for the pics, looks like a significant drop and back compared to stock. It looks like the pegs are lower than the mount. Does your boot try to rest on the mount or is not an issue?

You are right the top part of the peg is a little lower than the top part of the bracket, but I have never had an issue with it or even noticed. I’ve been running these pegs since 2002 so I am very used to them. At 6’5 these lower pegs are a massive increase in comfort for me.

You sold me. I'm gonna try them. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Bad10, I just bought a set of the Evo 3's and by looking at my 2019 YZ250F, I'm not sure they'll work on the low mounted position. There is a metal flange that acts as a stop, which sits in front of the peg & is part of the OEM mounting bracket. Looks to keep the pegs from extending forward. If I install the Evo 3's, it appears the peg would flop forward because that metal stop is only at the top portion of the peg. The only way I could see it working is if I got really long bolts to replace the camber adjustment bolts.

I'm not sure if your '19 450 mounts are the same or different. Do you happen to recall if you have those stops on your mounts?

Thanks Kenny C! No reason shouldn't work with my '19 250f.

Sorry, I know this is a super old post but did the pegs end up working in the low position on your 250f?
