looks more like Lime like they use on BMX tracks than concrete, either way would be nasty to come off on,

Sx whoops feel like concrete if you crash in them!

Probably for the ease of maintenance, but yeah would still suck ass to crash in them.

Youd think you would want the corners and ruts that form on them. Who knows im certainly not a pro

Some tracks in Spain have make jump faces from concrete (stays same for ever) not sure if this track also in Spain.

I have thought often about how concrete whoops, jumps, and berms could be easily impregnated in recycled rubber/tires like children's play facilities often are. There is no real reason why permanent sx playgrounds a la skateparks could not be long-term facilities.

Pax Trax always had concrete faces back when i raced there. .

Concrete will at least not rut up. Ruts through whoops and on jump faces give me night tremors.

That's pretty crazy if they really are concrete.

Me personally.....I would rather deal with rutted up whopps in the dirt , then take a chance on going down on a set of concrete whoops....any day of the weeks. Concrete shouldn't have any place on a motocross track unless it's the start pad. IMHO.

Agreed, lime added to harden soil. They do this for bmx dirt jumps and berms to have the soil stick together and not break down during watering.

Heard old lacr in the 90s would mix concrete into faces

they use concrete whoops in Spain as the dirt gets really dry really fast with in 3/4 laps it would be like concrete with ruts so they just use concrete so save money and time i guess
