1. tremendous racing
2. no real complaints on the quality of the coverage (though I def wish they'd show some of the other battles)
3. the guest commentators have been a great addition
4................but why TF do we have to do a commercial break at the 1m left mark in the motos??????????

I mean, if we're going to have commercials that sucks, but couldn't they do them at the 28m mark and not the 1m mark?

Food for thought to the companies paying for the timeslots in the middle of racing.

I will avoid spending my $$ with your business. Wink

Sucks we have to miss racing action at all....and it's usually some key moment too.

Almost tired of posting this...but I watch the bootleg Youtube videos after the live racing is over. FF thru the bullshit.
....but you still end up missing some of the racing.

Seems like they could hit "pause" and resume action where they left off.

I've been thinking the same thing.
I'd give up the minute or so of live racing, for them to pause things during the break.
They have an hour to air a 30 minute moto.
A bit of delay isn't that big of a deal.

CBSSN does that with their MXGP broadcast.
(Though that's not a live feed)

Do you know how time works? Live coverage, maybe?

The commercial breaks were way fewer than previous races. As good as it is going to get unless there is a better deal negotiated. The MAVTV plus / Flo racing was all a recovery plan when Peacock backed out. Next year let’s hope a better deal can be negotiated. I’d prefer a MXGPtv type deal and be willing to pay same for straight racing no commercials/ no puff pieces. Then license the feed to MAVTV or other to keep the dinosaur motorcycle industry executives happy about keeping it on TV. Throw all the commercials at it you have today.

I know how DVRs work, and I pause "live" stuff all the time.

YOU pause live stuff all the time, THEY can't pause a live event broadcast for an ad.
Am I missing something here, or are you really not understanding how this works?
It's not football or baseball where breaks in the actual action can be utilized.

The fact that this is a compromise that even needs to be considered now-a-days is hilarious. You're not wrong though it would be better than missing key battles, but man it's unreal when they've had it right for the last number of years.

I'm not, but you may be.
How do you think they get replays?

Maybe it's on a recording device?
