I enjoy the song and it's awesome to see the sport in mainstream music.

Sublime self-titled was the first album I ever bought on my own. Got it in 1997.

Nice to see Cole getting some exposure.

Cool to see Cole in the vid, but me thinks this pop shit would make Bradley Nowell roll over in his grave.

The band has changed their style since '09 when Rome joined. It will never be on the same level as Bradley Nowell was with the band but I try to appreciate it for what it is.

Sublime is probably my all time favorite band. Saw Sublime with Rome a few months ago and it was literally one of the best times I’ve had that I can remember. Not as good as the original, but I like a lot of the new stuff also.

I’m not going to compare the bands at all because I hate it when people do that but I think they’ve stayed with a pretty consistent sound. Always perfect for s sunny day spent outside!

Really cool to see Seely in this. Funny though, with his Grey Area video being rap heavy and now featured in this chill/summery music, he’s kind of a metal head

That was really cool. Rome has made some great songs - I've been waiting for their new album for awhile! I always blast "Brazilia" through town lmao. Now with a dirtbike video? I like him even more.

I guess that depends on your definition of mainstream. Growing up in CA, I'd consider it mainstream. I've never met someone who didn't know them.

That was pretty damn cool, not really my style (not punk enough for me) but not a bad song and a really cool video.

On a side note, if that was my chick I don’t think I’d ever leave the house. . .

Off topic, but do you think Honda would be a little upset at Cole putting his bike in a Ford? Doesnt he have a Ridgeline he's supposed to drive? Silly

I thought he had a Ridgeline so I was surprised to see the Ford. I would assume they would want him driving the Ridgeline.

Is it me, or is he re-vamping himself with an edgier image? The dude is pretty much invisible compared to some of the top stars. Not sure why.

Maybe you are right but he was hurt pretty bad last year and has been on the down low recovering and quiet results this year. All the talent is there.

Agree 100%, Cole's injuries last year were really really bad and honestly his story and comeback was heavily ignored by the media, who seemed to be very fixated on only Roczen's injuries. Seely had to have a massive amount of his pelvis and sacrum put back together, spent months in a wheelchair, had to start out from just being able to walk down the street! Whenever I see people write how disappointing his season/results have been I cringe. Go back to the guy's Instagram from March 2018 onwards and see where he was at.

Only thing I can criticize Cole on is his inability to lock down his GF. Bro, that girl had to do healthcare related stuff for you that happens mostly on 80 year olds, and she's gorgeous to boot!. Put a ring on it!

I'm embarrassed for any potential offspring of the bass player. Then I looked at his wiki page and it all made sense.

"On April 2, 2019, Wilson broke his arm and four ribs in an ATV accident on his avocado ranch in California."

I guess. I feel like 40oz to freedom got somewhat close to mainstream, with a few songs hitting the airwaves. But does anybody outside of Sublime fans know who Rome Ramirez is?

The band is called Sublime with Rome. Unrelated to Sublime.

Unrelated to Sublime in the same way Eric Wilson is unrelated....IMO, Josh Freese proved quite capable of filling in for Gaugh and I like Verdugo too. I just became a bigger fan of Sublime w.Rome...and I was already a huge fan! ....better? It's a bummer Brads' addiction got the better of him. You can live in the past or embrace the now, or both...or neither I suppose...
