Happened to be filming yesterday when Cole Seely crashed hard in Moto one at the Tennessee National. Didn't come out for Moto two.
Looks like him and Cooper Webb hit midair. See Link Below:

The Shop
Cole took quite a dinger to the head. Scary crash.
And yes, it certainly looks like Webb scrubbed a bit harder than intended or got a little kick. Certainly his fault, but I'd call it a racing incident.
Edit. Just noticed the wheels on the ground flag wayyyyy early. Those are AMA officials as well correct? Did AMA guy #1 radio to AMA guy #2 and #3? It appears that way instead of him waving his yellow. I recall in the race that leaders were checking up at the last second because that flag came out. Was this the same incident?Completely baffling and uncoordinated group of flaggers.
Flaggers should be out there to protect riders, not sit there looking pretty...
Go off a jump and land on your head
Pick up your bike and go for a walk
I'm convinced that there is a large # of guys that post on this forum that don't have a clue what they're talking about. He slammed his head hard, getting off the track is the first thing a "RACER" should do, when 35 guys are getting ready to land where you're laying. Cmon man... Think about it !
Pit Row
He could have easily gotten up, put his bike on the fold out stand he carries on his back (like a backpack) and started fixing everything he needed to fix on the bike, then got going again.
Its a shame that these modern day riders cant even rebuild a top-end during a race like I used to do back in the 80's at chicken licks raceway. Bunch of modern day pansies
Flagger incident we can do something...? AMA are you here, there o where?
They are educated to never go on the track, by Davey's post from a couple weeks back.
The dude flagging the table doesn't have anything to flag, since Cole's bike is far enough down the track be out of the direct line of fire, and none of those riders want the jump face flagged unless there's someone in the landing zone.
It's rare when riders at that level slow down much for anything other than a red cross or wheels on the ground flag anyway.
although the guy on top of the jump could be waving it as well, there is little use for him being there, as you would not see him on the upramp of the jump
