In before the 3,000 Cobra 125 posts...
So on Vurb it said Cobra were thinking about dropping a 125?
And Cobra hinted maybe Luke Renzland, Husky 125 hero from this weekend at Unadilla, may be down for testing it?
Is this all for the lolz and it's gone over my head, or are they serious?
Excited to see it if it is real, I see a lot of guys have been desperate for a US made big bike.
Or I'm just an idiot missing the joke... which is totally, totally, possible.

That engine 'could' be a viable 125...see the KTM/Kawi 112s for reference...they run pretty damn good!
You would likely end up with a tougher 85/100/112 bottom-end AND a solid 125...IF you took the time in design and development.
I'm jus' sayin'...
The Shop
So i don`t see why that couldn't be the case for Cobra too
As it is, Cobra sells everything they can make, right? Seems the business model has potential.
To give Cobra the benefit of the doubt, if they're struggling for materials and parts like other brands are, then planning for new models doesn't take effort away from the production of current models if that is already hindered. I understand it's frustrating for people waiting, but fair play to them for planning ahead and looking to the future.
Not to beat a dead horse, but this was the post, I should have added it in the first place for anyone interested.
I do agree about cobra's owning the 50 market though. I think the SR's are pretty close and maybe the P3 vs the Mini but the JR vs the Mini s no contest.
Pit Row
Currently? Yes.
I wouldn't buy one myself due to shipping etc, but with how much America has done for moto and how big it is in the US, I think it'd be awesome for people to have a proper Made In America big bike available, not to mention for the youngsters coming up from Cobra minis.
