Completely sucks, and typical of today's "everyone is equal" bullshit.
The faster riders will be penalized, the less talented ones rewarded.
Why bother improving your bike; instead just let everyone else get brought down to your level.
Likely the best plan will be to get something like 3rd place every single race and win the now craptastic championship.
