Okay now that we don’t have any new supercross races to watch, please post your favorite “classic” race. I’ll start with JS7 in Toronto.

Red bud moto one, 250’s

People forget that RC had someone just as fast or faster than him, but he also had bad luck.

Probably my all time favorite race... like watching Tyson get knocked out for the first time.

Also... something about the way the audio was mixed was just amazing at the time. The bikes... the crowd... Eckman and Bailey... it was all perfect.

From the floor (Gary Bailey), 1985 Daytona Supercross. Ward, Bailey, Hannah, Lechien and many more. Hurricane gets the job done.

Good knowledge. Consulted RacerX vault. A few more SX's on Honda and Suzuki over the next few years, but no wins.

June 22, 1980 has to be the best for me. The 1980 Carlsbad USGP. What other race brings a tear to your eyes. Just as awesome as when I watched it for the first time at age 10 on Wide World of Sports. That race on that day and the outcome changed my life forever.

Rex mentioned that in the Racerx interview at Daytona. I think he said it was 74.

Gary Bailey’s YouTube channel is a must have for any motohead. There’s so much good content on there.

Sorry about the quality here, it was from way way back and bandwidth was expensive!! DMXS "Roots" was pretty epic, i had a blast doing those.

Watch for the cameo of my best bro Chris Neal on the start line:

1993 or 94. Guy Cooper, #5 on a Suzuki. He was knocking over hay bales and riding way over his head. He went from the back to second. Houston?

All anyone has to do is go to about 3:32 to understand why the sound is totally badass. Cool

I idolized MC growing up, so this race, Anaheim 3, and the rest of the 2001 season stung big time when I was watching at 16 years old. These days I love to go back and watch them and just be happy that I got to witness the King of Supercross. I attended A2 (MC's last win) and Las Vegas that year and I'll never forget either race.

Really frustrating that the whole race is missing now, but this is probably the last race I attended where I was completely blown away by the action:
