I think this reviews is a bit kind. When Honda pulled the plug on the 125 support team, PC had to work like crazy to get the KX anywhere near competitive, and Mitch Payton pretty much savaged the power and overall quality of the bikes compared to Honda. They'd have to try several cylinders before they could get one to make any power without grenading. I think there was a long form article about it that Matthes did within the last couple of years.
