Was cool to see Blake going forward like that... looked like he looks when he's on form.

Any of you guys over there rather have seen him instead of Bam for the other 450 slot?

Shit he looks good when he's on!

He should have done what tomac did. He used to do that. Lay up and when the pack gets tired pour it on.

I'm ok with Barcia. He likes this race and he'll give good effort. Anderson was still a question mark when the decision was made. Roger went with the best available....imo. Barring any bad luck, I think we will do very well. No matter what...its gonna be crazy good. Rumor is for a huge crowd.

One good race doesn’t change the fact Barcia been better all year. Baggett would be good 2nd option though. Barcia really gives it 100% for that race

Did Baggett finally get comfortable on the new KTM?

When all the factors click for Blake, he is something else! It’s been harder to reach that level on the 450 but once in awhile like moto 2 it comes out. Pretty amazing rider.

Doh, I know you were talking about Bagget but I had Anderson on the brain. I can't figure Blake out. So good but....? I don't think he would have been a terrible choice for the team. Glad I'm not the decider.

Anderson should be second option. Baggett has been a disappointment in every Moto this year except the second one yesterday.

Anderson DNS second moto.....was he just gassed?
Pretty much. Said on his Instagram that he hopes to run both motos next week. With the conditions as rough as they were yesterday I don't blame him for working back into it.

Ya the guy that didn’t finish moto 2 is a better pick... right. After the 2016 nations I wanted Anderson to come back and get some redemption but this year doesn’t seem like it would work ou with his injury

Great to see BB back in form and on the hunt yesterday, if he had been riding like that all year I'm sure Roger D would have picked him... maybe next year. I do look forward to Barcia getting his Bam Bam game face on.

I am a fan of Baggett. I think he has a lot of upside but for whatever reason he has been a bit off this outdoors. He should be fighting for podiums every week with occasional wines. I think Barcia was the right choice.

I hope we see the Baggett of the 2nd moto next week - thats fun to watch.

Barcia is always a great choice of rider when it comes to red bud. Kinda like Grant at glen helen and red bud. Always seems to have a little extra at those tracks.

Watching Baggett reminded me of his 250 day's, when he launched it at Freestone and JS7 said, while laughing...Nope, no way, not me. Just a good memory and why I love this sport.

Doesn't he still have that thumb issue from when Anderson took him out last year?

Baggett was impressive yesterday. In the first moto he caught and almost passed tomac when he tried to get around Anderson or barcia. Then he went down or made a mistake but he was fast

Second moto the same.

He looked good towards the end cause the others were a bit gassed, his fitness held up.

Wasn't there a mention on a podcast that Blake was hoping to change things up and ride with some fast riders rather than riding by himself all the time?
