I love threads that open up interesting topics in the title, then when opened up, have zero substance other than mass speculation and basically waste time...........why bother at all? Please go ahead and tell us what the OP is talking about.

Heather locklear got herself arrested for domestic violence, shortly thereafter Chris heisser got himself arrested for DUI, he’s a former pro motocrosser, and her childhood sweet heart that she got back together after 40 years

Chris got in trouble two times, I'm not sure which he is talking about.

He's dating Heather Locklear, who is a bit of a junky. She got drunk and hit him, he was drunk with her and drove off getting caught.

Her family doesn't care for him because he went to prison for fraud.

As the world turns. And yes, Chris was the one who raced the Tin Can.

Guy got prime young virgin Heather, and then she got bored out by Tommy Lee. Drummer of Motley Crue>washed up early 80's mxer. Poor guy. But at least he's Eskimo bros with a guy who got prime versions of HL, Pammy A, Carmen Elektra, and the rest of these, minus Pink, this is an impressive resume.

Best I could find.

told Vintage Factory the bike, “was nicknamed the tin can because of the hand built aluminum gas tank. The bike was all hand built. We modified a stock Honda frame by cutting and welding increasing rake, decreasing trail, lowering the motor, extending swing arm, adjusting shock mount position e.t.c. once we got it where we wanted it we built a entirely new chromoly frame with the geometry we refined on the stock Honda frame. We used much larger diameter tubing and thinner wall material for less flex and less weight. We used disc brakes before any works bike had them. Entirely hand built, should have worked in theory, but did not. No flex in the frame made it feel rigid as hell. Needed another year for R&D but also needed results now. Ended up scraping the project getting Suzukis and I think I got fourth or fifth in the nationals that year with all the past heroes in my class.”

According to Racer X Online, Heisser, “was a top-10 AMA 125cc National finisher in both 1982 and ’83.

It's the standard here, that's what I went with. Smile

But ya, so he is on TMZ because of a DUI he got after his GF got arrested for trying to bite his nose off (and for cursing the cops/resisting arrest). That's the story, at least this time.

It's pretty mainstream news, therefore the need for a thread. Not every day you have a 80s pro popping up on TMZ.

Holy Crap- I just read that article on Locklear and read the name and laughed that he had the same name as an old moto dude! I had no idea it was THE Chris Heisser.

He used to ride a badass R&D RM80. I remember thinking he had it made in the shade.

I pretty sure he did have it made. Always had trick bikes and racing support. After racing I believe he walked into the family development company or something along those lines.
Pretty shocking to hear he did time for felonies.

Chris was a Team Tamm rider back in the 80's. Heather used to pull up to Westlake High School and pick him up at lunch in her Ferrari (or some other bad ass car). Didn't know about the fraud/felonies, but his family definitely is /was in the development business (not sure anymore). I think his dad did a bunch of the work at Lake Sherwood many years ago for the surrounding houses and such. Moved away from Thousand Oaks / Westlake area about 30 years ago so my memory might not be as trusting as it once was Smile

I found this pic on fb awhile back. Pretty cool because the only other picture of the bike I've ever seen is that one posted earlier. That's Sel from Maico (KTM now) checking it out...

Yup, I used to be pretty jealous of that guy. He'd pull into the pits with a factory RD or DG bike usually with a small harem. New gear with a tan and perfect hair. The go out and rip!!
