The head on crash sounded bad and I didn't get any info on how Chaz is doing. Any news?
He got up and walked away pretty quick didn't he? The other guy was down for quite a while. I'm sure someone on here has the video?
I thought they said that Chaz got up but Ames was the one that they were tending to and was worse off with possibly broken lower leg. Only what they said on the broadcast so not 100% sure
Man bad week for Chaz, got his cheater bike taken off him and now an unlucky crash
why am I reading this? ..... Oh christ, now I'm posting...... shiiiiiiiit!!
That turn with a straight away beside it was down right dangerous because of the chanceability of getting block passed hard right before the finish. Perhaps they needed a net right there?
Nah nothing too juicy just on the new SX game for whatever reason he was the one to beat then they put out a 'patch' to make it more 'realistic'

Can we get some video of this since the tv crew missed it. Chaz has to be the most talked about rider this week between MES and now this.

That's it. Looks to me Ames was on the brakes and tried to go right and Braden tried to go left at the last second, They did have a little time and space to minimize it.

Dude what the heck.... Why did the rider going off the track ride into the middle of the next lane.. He had to know there was oncoming traffic.. Bad situation but even worse decision.. Hope they are both OK..
Chaz is fine, his knee is a little swollen but he can walk on it and i'm sure it will be better by the end of the week. Being a true privateer when we got home Sunday morning he went into work and fixed broken water heaters! His bike was pretty trashed, his brake line got ripped off, bars bent to hell, front number plate ripped off, and messed up forks. Spoke with Ames' team manager and broken leg is what was believed. Haven't heard any updates.

Want to look at it the way Trey will?
If we stay calm and analyze this looking for a way to resolve it...
We start by asking,”How does a rider end up in a head on to begin with?”
I know that sounds very simple, almost stupid; but, it IS exactly what we’re looking to resolve. So, if you look at the entire track, what are your answers to that question? There are more than 2 answers just for this one accident. There are MANY ANSWERS/solutions to the head-on opportunities on/around the entire track.
Then...then...you look at resolving EACH problematic situation.
Track Safety is a prominent subject at all USMCA gatherings.
I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.
