I just moved to Chattanooga and would like to ride practice tomorrow, Sunday 12/26. Does anybody know of a track in the vicinity that'll be open tomorrow? TIA

Why the move away from the land o’ the redneck?
The new track here in Okc area, DCMX is open from
10-4 tomorrow and its supposed to 78* BUT that won’t help a former Tulsa guy that’s living two states away now!
Why the move? Work related? Family? Will you be coming back here to Hillbillyville at some point?
As you know and contrary to popular belief, this ain’t too bad a place to live and raise a family!

I loved living in Tulsa but had to move for a job. I need to put food on the table and was offered an excellent opportunity. I'm going to miss the OK MX riding more than anything in the relocation as I got to ride every weekend at the Reynard Training Complex. I'm friends with Robby and his Dad and he does a full prep for us every Saturday. We have a group of about 20 guys who get to ride Robbie's even though he's not open to the public. I'm greatly missing having his pro level track as well as getting to ride with his pros and kids he's training every week. My friends are riding tomorrow at Robbie's and having a BBQ after and I won't be there. Sad.

Well I can certainly understand the employment situation! Glad to hear you got a great opportunity even if its in another state!
Its cool that you get to ride at Robbie’s too!
Its a great place to ride and you won’t meet a better father/son duo than Robert & his moto HOF son Robbie!
Hopefully you find some good Moto out there in SE Tennessee and the new job goes so well you’ll be swimmin’ in a pool full of money by summer time!

Mill Creek is also open. Calhoun is also I think. Talking rock also maybe.

Was going to Indian mound but when got bike out had a flat. Too many other thibgs today, don't have time to fix it

Thx all. I think I'll go to Calhoun tomorrow as it's closest to me. It'll be my first time riding in the Chattanooga area since moving here 3 weeks ago after 15 years riding Oklahoma. If anyone else is going I'll be in a black GMC with a red/white/black KTM #60. Stop by and sat hey!

Also sand mtn and mclarty.

In terms of tracks, mill creek and McCarty are tops. Then Indian mound. Calhoun is closest but it's small, but draws a big crowd.

Thanks all. I went to Calhoun and had a good time. They did a nice job on prep but more a mini bike/beginners track and much too small for my preference. All in all it was a good outing for my first ride outside OK. The people were fantastic, friendly and welcoming.
