The guy is flat flying out there, but man he better be careful around those Yamaha boys.

That was an ill advised move he tried on Nichols. There was no reason to force that. Could have cost him the title.

I think the Yamaha boys need to be careful around him🙄

Absolutely ripping. Lucky to escape that cross-jump. His style reminds me of Dungey.

Colt Nicols made a really poor decision there.

It was Nichols. Bad move by Sexton to triple to the inside but Nichols also cut all the way across to the inside

That was as much Sextons fault as it was Colts.

you mean Nichols? That was totally on nichols imo. Colt looked over and just turned right over on in sextons line when he was mid air.

I hope they all come through safe tonight. I do not want to see carnage and may the man who is most prepared win.

|

I’m so happy that didn’t end his chances. It coulda gone much worse then it did. Glad both guys got up. Was something wrong with Nichols bike? He got moving again before Sexton did, but then barley even made main.

This kid is the new Jeff Stanton: TOUGH!

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Well so far three of the four Star bikes have been involved in contact with other riders today so clearly the pattern is clear.

|

Personally I do not think anybody has anything on Chase Sexton tonight. I think as long as there is no carnage on the start in the Main, he is favored to win. He just needs to be smart and beware of the other top riders.

Riding behind someone it is your responsibility to not jump on the rider in front. NOBODY tripled to the inside in that corner. It was not a bright move by sexton. Riders were going from the outside down that rhythm lane to the inside and singling to jump the triple. Nichols did nothing wrong.

Huh??? They are both at fault...but nobody had been going outside to inside until Colt did....

Huh??? They sure have, that’s setting up for the turn. Your not staying to the inside, to single and then try and triple.

|

Absolutely no reason for Chase to make that move in a heat race. He was clearly faster than both of the riders ahead of him. For what, gaining one position for gate pick? Stupid move by a talented rider. Yes we all saw Colt look over then move over, but why even try that triple on the last half lap? Just not a smart decision.

So we’re just going to ignore the fact that Colt cut completely across the track after Sexton was already in the air?

Again, you don’t jump a triple to the inside of a rider when you are behind them. Colt didn’t know he was tripling. He looked to see if he was inside of him. The race line was tripling to the outside, or double single to the inside.

|

Stupid move on Sextons part.

Take it to the limit, one more time!

Everyone was using that line. At first I was cursing colt because I like Sexton more but I agree that was not a smart move by Sexton. This isn’t the first time he has landed on someone into a corner

X 2. That was just stupid. I could have cut him a little slack had he not looked over before the move.

Exactly!!! Not the best situational awareness from Sexton...but what happened to cross jumping being one of the biggest sins on Vital? Dude literally looked over his shoulder and then crossed over to block him.

Exactly. He looked over, saw Chase coming to his right and cut over.

Was the corner before the triple Sexton had been setting up to cut the guys from the outside to make the pass....Colt cut over to block while Chase was in the air...

Congrats to Chase and Dylan on their repeat Championship wins. I did not want to see the racing go like it did, but that is racing. Those 2 earned it for sure.
