Change tube with every tire change?

I usually change the tube every 2-3 tires, but I do closely inspect them before reusing.

Like changing the chain and sprockets at the same time, you change both tube and tire at the same time.

Always reuse here when the tube looks decent... no issues over 45 plus years... ridiculous to change every time, might as well throw cash in the trash

I've been using good tubes and replacing them every time like a wasteful fool. I hate flat tires at the track so i view this as preventative but it is overkill. I'm stopping moving forward.....thanks for being my support group

If you like to reuse the tube, always check the valve stem and the core, aside from a hole, they're the only thing that can fail.

Shit...i usually ruin 2 tubes per tire change.

A friend of mine has used 26’ MTB fat tubes for yrs… he swears by them. Incredibly light. I ride w/him weekly… no flats.

Might give it a try!
