I wish the whole world could understand why this picture is so cool.
How we're all a family despite the biggest rivalry ever to happen in this sport

(Don't care if James said there wasn't one).

Anyways, Chad posted this -- There wasn't a CC for the photographer, I really want to print and hang this.
Id really like to know the photographer who took this shot and I'd really like to compensate them for reprinting this on canvas.

it's cool enough... but ask an old timer about Howerton / Hannah ... before thinking Stewart / Reed was "biggest"

not to mention Johnson / Lechien... with punches thrown.

Looks like my picture but I can't be sure

You're saying when you think back of the greatest Rivalries in our sport, James and Chad don't come up in your mind?

I cant think of one without thinking of the other.
In fact, I'd say JS and CR stand more out in my mind than CR/RC and RC/JS

I did say biggest -- I get that may be wrong, but i dont think its a stretch.

just pointing out that the statement

" the biggest rivalry ever to happen in this sport "

may not be accurate.

remember the sport's been around for quite a number of years prior to JS and CR.

didn't mean to cause a fuss.

This really is a sick picture. I feel like Mookie is a cool dude and cool with everyone.

"the greatest rivalry" tends to be the one currently happening. Just human nature, I guess. The older rivalries tend to get romanticized and turn into "Mutual respect" and whatnot, even if they really wanted to kill each other at the time. :-)

Remember Bercy 91.

The above may be fact or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting. I am not sure, you have no chance.

How are you all measuring rivalries? Intensity? Number of incidents? Social Media posts? ( laughing ) Duration?

You can't see CR's smile....but you just know there's a big grin under there!

Pretty much Bayle vs everyone...remember, Honda benched him when he wouldn’t help Kiedeowski, too...

Reed has a right to be cocky- nobody else is looking out for him. You want humility? Get your license and line up next to him next Saturday.

I think they may have been asking each other if they had seen this video I had posted earlier of what Big James must have looked like if there was a camera on him during one of Chad's & James' epic battles.

Sorry I'm on mobile and couldn't figure out how to embed from IG

cluck here to see Big James

I don't understand why this picture is so cool in regard to Chad and James rivalry. I think it would be meaningful if it was a pic with James. The rivalry was with James. Do you understand that the rivalry occurred between Chad and James?

It was more of James and Reed.
But the rivalry was off track as well. there where many times after the podium where Big james and the family would step in and heated conversations where taken with reed.
like imagine young Malcolm there at the dinner table hearing Big James and Bubba talk about the nights racing..

I think its great to see history put aside and just enjoying the moments. and then for Reed to go visit Mookie after the race! thats saying something!

Imagine Big james and JS259 sitting there in hospital next to Mookie on the hospital bed and then Reed walks through the door to check in on him. ooft!

you can be cocky and self-amused. that's far different than fueling your ego with external validation.
