Chad really needs a win in Atlanta to turn his season around. Anyone else agree?
Emig said hes had to win in Phoenix.
Matthes said he needs to turn it up in San Francisco.
Vital poll says its a long season...he can finish second...and wait for Stewart to make a mistake.

Reed will probably take 2nd for the remaining rounds...MAYBE. I think we will see a different 3rd place every round, but I would like to see Josh Grant take as many 2nd's & 3rd's as possible... a couple seconds would be a bonus.
Vital members will remind you it's a long season and Stewart could have trouble starting the bike again and earning another DNF.
If Reed wins the championship with second place finishes it will be an empty championship because he never once showed he was faster than Stewart.
On the bright side... I think we are going to be in for some serious battles for 2nd and 3rd for the rest of the season. Between Grand, Reed, Short, Poto and a few little surprises along the way.

Realistically, I think the only way Reed can win a few races is if he drops Bubba in the first turn. I wonder how bad he wants it?

Toast,
`og
its gonna be a long season from here on out if your name is'nt James Bon Jovi..
Reedy's about to start losing that 2nd step on the box for sure...Poto, J. Grant, Shorty & "Saps all smell blood...it also can be seen on the backrounds of the #1 suzook...
I would love to see Reed challenge Stewart for one lap at Atlanta because that would give the Reed fans something to believe in.
And the winner is...well...easy...Chad Reed because he HAS TO WIN.
we know he can do it.
Pit Row
If Stewart can avoid a DNF the rest of the way, he wins. Reed will undoubtedly win a race or three, but he's done for the title unless James DNFs somewhere along the line. To that extent, Atlanta isn't any more of a must-win than any other. The "must-wins" up to now have been wins Reed needed to make James try harder and take more chances. Too late for that now. Reed didn't win any of the must-wins.
james is a stud...solid as a rock.
I don't wish anything bad for anybody, I just say it could be CR's night this Saturday.

I like Chad (never met him) but right now he isn't close to James speed. I do think others are gaining on Chad right now so he needs to step it up.
Look for Grant to finish back on the podium this week in the ATL.

To say that CR does not have JS speed is inconsistent with the facts. Pull up the lap times of each of the races and you will see the CR has JS speed and in fact had faster lap times in three of the seven.
The main thing is that when James is "completely on"... there really is no one on the planet that can race him for 20 laps. I am a big Chad fan and a not-so-big fan of Bubba, but the facts are the facts... Reedy has Bubba's speed this year and if he would put in a complete 20 laps I think we would see pre-crash A1 and Phoenix racing and US Open for the rest of the series. Can only hope reedy steps it up and pushes to challenge the way he did in LV, A1 and Phnx. But then again... what the hell do I know!!!
