Chad Reed posted a positive post about the 2023 KTM's ability in the whoops but Marvin Musquin and Aaron Plessinger fired back...

Pretty dumb of Marvin and Aaron to comment like that, because you could put Chad on about any bike or whoop combo and he’s top 3 ever to go through whoops… so he probably will, and then they look like they’re shitting on the bike.

First off, he’s clearly promoting the brand he rides and gets sponsored by even if it is indirectly through a dealership. That’s just smart business and you’d think two KTM factory riders would be smart enough to shut up when someone else is praising the brand that they get paid generously to ride for.

Second, Chad didn’t get slower because of his whoop speed. He drastically slowed his charge through rhythms and his corner speed in his later years. He blasted a set of race whoops on a YZ 250 and he smoked them.

Seemed like more of a comparison to whoops on a track during race day vs the one at the test track. Rather than a diss on the new KTM bike. Even though everyone and their grannies daddy knows KTM fucked up the new bike lol.

Reed is usually good at stirring shit, mostly because it always bases on the truth/facts. But here he failed.

I'm 99.9% sure AP, Marvin (he was actually decent in whoops in 2022), Mookie, Deano could go through those mid sized and smooth whoops at the same speed or even faster than Reed in this IG clip.

There is a difference between getting through a set of whoops and consistently being top-3 or 5 fastest through whoops in a 20-27 lap main event which is required to podium or win races.

Put a couple whoop sections in the red bull straight rythem, and line them up and settle it.
