Takes some serious balls to try it without ever trying it before, having never done it into a pit or anything, and then just do it to dirt (well, sawdust or whatever, but still).

That dude has some cajones.

Ok ... I'm thinkin' the dude landed on his side ... notice no arms raised in triumph by the guys standing on the hill ?

He must have tried a few times in Travis' pit... surely .... and also, perhaps at the risk of being a tad negative ....WTF ? The MXDN is 10 days time !! ... geez !!

That's what ya get from hanging with that crowd ... bloody peer pressure ...

He didn't land on his side, but it is wood chips, so I would imagine that makes it pretty difficult to ride out completely.

But I know he hasn't tried it into a foam pit.

He's just got a lot of balls.

He did it 3 times.

The guy is having more fun then he has since he moved to the states, I say let him do what he wants.

Wonder if he feels like he can do that right now without having a team manager come come down on him for risking a lot for a freestyle trick. I.E paastrana/ decoster.

Thats sweet though, good for him for stepping outside his compfort zone and busting big.

I hope it wasn't done during SX, that would have been even riskier with a championship on the line.

I'm about positive that is back by Godfrey Trucking off Hwy. 201 in Salt Lake. I remember going out there to watch Travis do tandem backflips with people a couple years ago into the same pile of wood chips.

If that IS Chad Reed is pretty impressive.......Bubba did TRY doing a backflip into a foam pit recently for a reality TV show he is filming and I guess he just isn't comfortable flipping at all. I heard he had a hard time doing a flip on a tramp even.

Is the timing on the red #1 plate, combined with the snowy peaks, provide any clues to a fake?
