Thats funny, I was actually thinking about posting this. This is a good exhibit for all the naysayers of the progression of skill in the sport. This kid is an amateur and absolutely rips modern mx tracks on 40-year-old bikes lol.

If you don't enjoy it why do it?

Kid sure knows how to have a bit of fun on those older bikes.

Looks like one of the hidden tracks we have in the woods.

He should do Diamond Dons. I'm building up a YZ 100 for it. 1982. Had it since new.

Is that video in slow motion lol.

Were 125 that slow back then or is that thing in need of a major tune up?

makes me think of bob hannah's quote on his pulp interview.
i think roger is the best competitor we ever had. If these guys in europe think they're so much better they're wrong. Your'e not beating roger 40+ minutes on a track its different bikes, different times.
horribly paraphrased. but yea, this kid rips.

Haha.....that poor old bike! Probably had an easy life.....until that day. It would be like living pretty dang good for 45 years , then getting water boarded for a day by some maniac.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

HAHA I remember when I was young my dad bought me this old XT Yamaha 500 or something dual sport. Big heavy 4 joke to ride to middle school. It was slow, heavy, and had garbage brakes.

I beat the shit out of that thing on our tracks just like that. Good times being young.

That 1980 XR200 looks faster than the 1979 CR125.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

You've obviously never ridden the powerhouse 1980 XR200! /sarcasm

Having ridden one of those pigs, I'm even more impressed by this kid's talent. I tried hitting a tiny double on my dad's when I was a kid, and I almost pitched myself on my head.
