Because it's fun. Seriously, they're a freaking blast to ride if you're just goofing off.
That bike is really sweet, though I'm surprised it's using the stock round slide RM carb, instead of the flat slide on every other mini. It's well known to be a nice upgrade on the RM's. I've had a chance to test them back to back and found the flat slide was certainly preferable. Still, aluminum tank; air forks- wow.

RC's not very tall, but these days from a weight standpoint he's a lot further from the "target" 85cc audience than Kenny is.

True story, I actually owned one of his modded PC Team Green bikes. It was a '94 he raced a few times. I wish I would have hung on to it. I'll post some photos of it if I come across some (too lazy to look now).

De Dycker's not really that big a bloke - 6'3" I think ( I grew up with 6' 6" plus blokes around me, so my take on Big is a bit 'tilted'). But he rides Bigger than BIG.
