Carl passed away last month and was a ISDE and moto guy from NorCal. Part of the original Penton(KTM) wrecking crew. A true US off-road pioneer. Found this video on youtube about him.

Thanks for posting this! I met Carl when worked I for Malcolm in early the 70's. We had to drive somewhere and I was so stoked that I was riding shotgun with Cranky Carl as Malcolm used to call him!

RIP Mr. Cranke.
