I have a 2006 Crf250r and it needs a new carb, Can you put a 450 carb on it or should I just stick the 06 carb ?

New carb? Why? I had my 09 yz carb modded by Tokyo mods. It was expensive but she breathes fire now. They basically replaced all the internals of the carb.

My 06 carb had a crack down the side. Motor Built by bpm race motors here in dade city Florida , the bikes done me great , just this carb cracked down where the bowl and carb meet together so I was needing a new one ... ive jetted it feels times and had it off few times but it’s time for a new one

Just pick up a used one on ebay... cheap... then swap out your jets and the needle.

2006 was the first year they put a bigger carb on the CRF250. I think went from 37 to 39mm ? Anyway, 2006 had a little more top pull but was known for the dreaded bog. Lots of guys went back to the smaller 2005 carb to get rid of the bog and improve low response. Something to be aware of when trying to source a used carb.

FGR01 nailed it, try to find a 2004/2005 37mm if possible.
