Thanks

The Liebs own it, they do custom gear. I got a couple jerseys done, nice quality, a little heavy though, not super vented like some of the new high end gear

Looks like RV2 will be joining the family business this year as well.

Michael Leib is RV's brother-in-law. My guess is that Moto711 is saying RV will be joining the CanvasMX gear crew.

Bought a few custom Jerseys from them. Highly recommend. Nice quality, great customer service. I wouldn't buy anywhere else.

Huge win for Micheal Leib. Pumped for him and I think the gear looks dope. In general the custom stuff they've made is on point, but obviously that's all up to the designer.

Kenny Safford worked with them to make Pastrana's AXO throwback gear for Straight Rhythm last year.

Canvas also made Catanzaro's "Pastrana 2000" gear, and Luke Renzland's Team Peak/McGrath tribute gear for that race.

They also did Robbie Maddison's gear for his first bike surfing project.

That's just a few but I think they have a great vision and look forward to seeing more custom gear.

Michael has done a good job with this stuff. I'm a die-hard TLD guy; but, I gotta give a High-5 to this Canvas gear. It's pretty damn nice lookin' gear.

I'm also impressed. The black light set is righteous.

I think that Leib had a great idea at the start of last season, and this makes me root for the guy even more.

Even if there is a family connection, a guy like RV isn't going to leave much money on the table after realizing how much it can drop off in retirement. I'd say that he probably like the hustle and work ethic of Leib to get involved like that.

Sounds like he is probably taking an equity stake instead of a "salary", which means that he's betting on the company and Leib to do well.

My son got me a custom set a couple years ago and it’s good stuff. Heard they were moving manufacturing to the US for better quality and faster turnaround on custom stuff is what I remember. Wish them all well as I really liked the original reason for the birth of canvas gear.

I think it's a cool idea as a company, reminds me of Trim Leather, who made custom tailored pants and jerseys.
They mailed a list of things to measure, you sent back, they made to order

Been running their gear for 3 years now. I’m horrible on pants and the knees have stayed together for the entire time very good stuff. It’s the older pant but still very durable. Jersey are not as breathable but quality is top notch. And who doesn’t like to have their name/number sublimated?

I am not against it, but my fear is I order jersey and pants and they don't fit. What happens then? I cant imagine them letting you return something that was custom made?

Have them send you a blank set that you can send back after you try them on.

I'd like to see some of the scrapped designs from you guys that tried to design your own gear. I spent an hour designing a set, and i'm wishing I'd saved a pic. Safe to say I'll never be hired to design motocross gear. Well, maybe I could get hired by Thor..

I love that black set RV is wearing.
I really hope it takes off and I would happily buy that black set if they ship to U.K.
Not a huge fan of the name but maybe it’ll be a grower.

Gear looks good and wonder how much they could remake some vintage stuff(90’s Fox, emig shift, or 00’s no gear gear)?and I like me some RV, but after watching the pit bike race/takeout I think lieb is a whinny/crybaby.. I know very stupid and dumb but🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ So let the down votes begin🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Side note, does liebs own rocket exhaust too??

I have some Canvas MX stuff. I like the fact that you can customize it. I wanted all white without any graphics, so that's what I got. I hope Canvas continues offering this option. They seem to run a little small though on the pants. Not so much the waist but the length and leg diameter. If you are using knee braces I could see them being pretty snug.

Only about 25 years behind cycling. Custom stuff is about the only thing anyone in cycling wears. It's all designed by your team/club. As for fit, they all have blank samples they can send you to determine sizing.

If that is an option I will think about looking into some of their gear. I heard that Santa is bringing me a new set this year, so I will have to wait on this for a bit. Thanks for the info.
