Perfectly executed block pass. Thats what has to be done in arenacross, I'm sure Tyler Bowers would agree.

A perfect block pass involves no contact.

Sweet pass for sure... a little aggressive for a teammate, imo. Wonder what Trey thought of it.

btw, one of the related vids at the end is of Trey conducting a church service.. weird to see a motocrosser being so articulate, lol.

It was more than a block pass,Barcia was not blocking but pushing.Without the high circuit barrier, canard would have been off the track.

Riiiiight... you don't have to hit to block someone. Metal on metal is a punt pass.

Teammate...off season race...not necessary. He easily could have broken Canards leg. I'd bet there's some pretty bad tension in the pits.

What if Canard made that move?
Then he would have won, obviously. Tight racing favors the aggressive, I say good move and if the roles were reversed Trey would have done the same! Today should be some good racing.

I've done worse than that for a cheap plastic trophy. These guys do this for a living. Their job is to finish first, and there's no one you want to beat more than the guy you are fighting for a contract next year.

Winning. Is what they do; but, in Bercy?

A Block pass or a Slam?

In the end: Another "Not so smart" move...we'll see.

I'm gonna get shit for this; but, I'm not gonna have ANY problem w/ TC when he puts his team-mate ON THE GROUND.

Pay-Back is a bitch...especially when A-1 gets here.

It was the last lap, in the last turn and they were going for the win. They have big money on line, regardless if it is an off season race, I think anyone would go for that pass. I don't understand why people have such a problem with Barcia. He is aggressive, and even though he's put people on the ground, I can't think of a pass that he completely punted someone, or seriously injured anyone.

I'd like to see Dungey take about 50% of Barcia's aggression. I'm sure Trey will return the favor soon enough.

LOL...... Like RV, RC, MC, JS, ect wouldn't have done the EXACT same thing.

If it was the last corner of the last lap then shame on TC for not protecting the inside..................

Yes I am a JB fan but hell guys................ That was a block pass for the win and every other pro racer would have done it. Team mate or not.

It wasn't that big o deal anyway, just a little over aggression by Barcia. Canard probably was surprised but didn't think anything about it after the race.

I didn't really see it as that big of a deal either. Just a racer going for the lead. Honda might think otherwise, though. As a fan, I don't mind aggressive, rough riding with some contact. Actually, I prefer it. The only thing that kinda chaps my ass is when a rider bitches after he gets paid back for a move like that. If you're gonna be rough, then be ready to take your lumps from retaliation as well. Since it has already been brought up, I respect bowers in that regard. He doesn't seem to be scared to mix it up but also seems to accept it when it happens to him, too. I like that. Hopefully barcia handles it the same way, if it even comes to that. I'm sure this wont be the last of their run-ins, because riders of similar speed tend to find each other often - ala short and tickle. The difference being barcia and canard are teammates and have to see each back at the truck.

Just an aggressive pass on a teammate IMO. I saw it as one of those discretionary moves that's not right or wrong, it's up to the discretion of the 2 guys involved to decide what it was. If Trey pays him back, you'll know how that conversation went. If he slid in to his front wheel and dropped him then there is no question it was dirty but I'd leave this one up TC and JB to decide.

If you are gonna dish it out then don't cry when you are served the left overs.

I have my opinion an I'm sure I will get a lot of shit for it. But if that was a "block pass" then the move that hanny pulled on that dude in the LCQ last year was a block pass. I used to think that barcia was one of the dirtiest riders and biggest cry babies in the AMA. But once he jumped up to the 450 I thought he got a lot better and more respectful. I guess old habits die hard.

Barcia did the exact same thing. People just don't want to call it what it is because their barcia fans. But everyone is soooo quick to say hanny straight took nicoletti out. And you see what happens to him 20 seconds later. Karma suck.

That all being said. I guess he did what he had to to win

And that shit he pulled last year with roosting a downed rider and a medic after the moto was completed. And he only gets a slap on the wrist.
