We have a different point system. We give points all the way to 25th place (1 point).

Total of 4 and 4 and best result in 2nd moto was tie breaker ?
55 points vs 54 points under current points system. Under the old system where a win is 25pts it'd still be the same, 45 vs 44pts.

Matt Goerke has a broken collarbone. That's why he didn't line up for moto 2.

Worse year yet for Matt since he's been racing up here.

Well that sucks. I'm a fan of his. How'd it happen?

Congrats on an amazing career Colt! Ever since I met him at the Vancouver SX when he was in a halo with a broken neck, I’ve been a huge fan. Even more so when he got his jersey signed by a bunch of Pros at the Nanaimo National back in ‘16 and gave it to my son. He’d had a bad crash and was life flighted to Vancouver. We were not expecting that. Top notch rider and human.

First time I saw him ride was in 2004 at the Joliette National. He was riding a KX 250 2t for the Richmond Kawasaki Team. Even back then he had this smooth/flawless style.

Been a fan ever since.

Amazing career. It's a shame we won't get to see him represent Canada once last time at the MXdN in Assen this year.

I get why he's retiring but the fan in me would love to see him out there for another 2-3 years.

Hell yeah, when I worked at Blackfoot I can remember watching him in Jay Mitchell's office signing his first contract through the office window, once he was on good bikes(or off garbage, you choose), he won everything...I even had him over to my house for dinner once. Colt is a class act and such a nice dude. Canadian moto will miss him.
