Facciotti looking flawless out front.

Pourcel still trying to make things happen with Goerke.

Goerke not too happy with Pourcel's pass. Said he ran his front tire right in his leg/front tire.

Matt said he's been clean all year and that Christophe needs to do that to beat him and that we'll see about next week.

I agree with Goerke as a fan, heat of the moment, understandable reaction. I'm 100% behind the move that Pourcel executed as a fan, wouldn't want to see anything less from him or anyone in that situation. The anger will be a non issue when they present Matt with the championship next weekend, great year of racing up north!

I agree. Pourcel dove on the inside and made contact with Goerke but they are both going for a championship. If Goerke was the one sitting in second in the standings he would have done the exact same thing.

I do understand why Matt wasn't too happy with Pourcel's move but in the end that's racing. In my opinion it was aggressive but not overly aggressive. Could he have passed Matt without contact? More than likely but in the last lap with only a few sections to go you do what is necessary to make the pass stick.

Another great race thread. You're the man Maverick. Catch you next week. Your play by play is completely spot on. Great job.

One more round to go and the series will be over. Looks like 2 titles will be going to Yamaha.

After that I hope Goerke, Facciotti, Maffenbeier and the rest of the fast guys line up for the remaining two rounds down south. Facciotti, Medaglia and Maffenbeier are representing Canada at MXdN so might as well keep racing. They've done so in the past so hopefully they do it again this year.

With Shawn Maffenbeier's DNF in the 2nd moto in MX2/250 class, Ryan Surratt is now 11 points down going into the final round.

In the MX1/450 class Christophe Pourcel is now 15 points behind Matt Goerke.

With only 1 round and 2 moto's left to make things happen it could get interesting.

Pourcel made multiple attempts to go after Goerke in the second moto and the only reason it panned out on the lap is because of the lappers. If it hadn't been for that Goerke would have finished 2nd in that moto.

Besides that it wouldn't have made a difference according to the lap times. He still would of had to settle for 2nd as they were running similar lap times. Had he started upfront he might of had a chance to battle for the lead.

Yeah. Faster than Colton. He should have attacked.

Pourcel's fast lap in moto 2 was 2:29.419

I don't care about early moto fast times. Late in the moto Goerke and Pourcel were faster and Pourcel could have attacked
