Canadian 2 Stroke prices

Why are the 2 stroke conversion prices so much of a jump for the KTM vs Yamaha? yamaha is about 7,800 before taxes and the KTM comes in at 9,699

in the USA the price difference is like 400$ or something

that's in Alberta tho, yeah I realize the conversion rate because our dollar is so low at the moment its just crazy to me how they are only 500$ difference price in the USA , where in Canada the price jump is 2000+ i'm definitely going with the Yamaha, my best bikes have been blue
