And on a rough ass track with absolutely no jumps to grab a quick rest! Damn I wish I still lived in SoCal! I'm gonna hit the 28th and 4th when I head south for A1.

Absolutely no jumps couldn't be further from the truth. Jump infested? Absolutely not. Table tops and a couple of natural major jumps (if you are fast enough) are all part of the REM layout which never remains the same for too long which is very nice. .Being a rider and a racer himself Frank Thomason knows how to keep things interesting.

Have fun on the 28th and 4th. I will be there on the 4th too since I am finally doing what I said I was going to do "next year" for about the last three years which is not arrive on Saturday at A1 until 5:30 to avoid the crowded pits. Looking forward to spending the day with my REM buddies....been too long. Last time I raced REM was December 2010 and last time I spectated was 2011.

Six responses with four of the them being about the picture.

Any comments about how bitchin' it is a local race series offers 20 minute motos for eight straight weeks? Talk about getting your money's worth.

If ANY track promoter in Dallas/Ft Worth had the balls to try this I would start racing again. That's my short opinion on amateur MX on a local level and "gettin' your money's worth.".

One of these days, when i'm finally healed. I would love to come out to race some REM races. Pipe dream maybe but i can see myself getting my moto van and saying fuck i'm going. Is camping permitted, long term camping there or nearby?

There will be a series in WI next summer that runs only 20 min motos. Not sure how many races though.

We have a local winter series here in Colorado Springs that runs a ten race schedule. It has 20 minute moto's for all classes. I raced one a couple weeks ago and was too tired to do the second moto.

I've only race there once, and they did have two tables, but I was catching more air off the massive breaking bumps coming into the corners! If you wanna become a better rider, GH is the best place to do it. Love that place!!

And yes 20 min moto's sound awesome, though I remember being pretty spent after my two 15 min ones.

Amen to the being spent after 15. Amazing how much more intense racing is over practice riding.

For me the start is a fix you can only get by racing.

Go to http://rpaoffroad.com/ for additional information. Sounds like 3 tracks this year and hopefully expand the following year. For me in my state of old age 15 minutes would be enough, but I'll most likely try a couple.
