4 Sets of gear sharing the same pants with different jersey
3 Sets of gear sharing the same pants with different jersey

Genius idea honestly. Buy two sets of pants and seven jerseys, new look every time out on the track,

I been loyal to oneal for damn,30yrs i guess. They always made the best buckle which was a belt, not sure now.

Never cared about looking good or bling, just that a plastic buckle wasnt going to break and leave my ass hanging.

They had a ggod sponsorship program in 2000 that i got on after a time off and was always well taken care of.

Good times

This is actually really nice. I always wear mismatched gear because I don't like wearing a nasty jersey in the heat. I just itch and itch. Need a clean one Everytime. This works out great.

Since when does a red/white/blue jersey go with black pants?

Oneal is stepping it up in terms of design as well. I haven't always been a fan of some of their designs, but the new jerseys are looking really good.

I dig it, seeing it in person too, it goes good. Anything really goes with solid black/white.
O'neal is getting 2 pants worth of money and 4-5 jerseys from me. That set is one.

The problem I would have is the pants wear out (in the knees) and jerseys last forever. So I'd end up with a ton of extra jerseys, I guess I could just give them to all my fans.

While we all know I'm a TLD kinda guy...

I like what O'Neal has done. And, yes, upon closer inspection the different pieces do work together and make sense for someone trying to look good on a budget.

I just bought the set from the top with the black/yellow/red jersey and the flow pants. I really like it - some of their lines are a little too 'young' looking for me, but the new Flow stuff is clean looking I think.

I've been using O'Neal since 2000. I can tell you one thing, the Hardwear pants are damn near indestructible in my experience.

To boot, it looks better than anything they've put out in the last 10 years. Save for the retro stuff.

I thought One Industries did a good job last year with the solid jerseys as well. A pair of pants with 3 jersey's for practice and 2 motos are great.

I agree. Oneal hard wear pants are perfect for spring and fall. Little hot in summer but they're crazy indestructible, especially in the knees.

Agreed, O'Neal gear is nearly indestructible. It's the only gear that my knee braces don't wear through the knees.

And I love the new designs!

This just seems lazy. I was a one industries rider for a while and remember switching to the plain jerseys and black pants because of their main designs were terrible. I think the company noticed this and kind of went with it the next year. It's cool for companies to offer this as a an option but basing their whole line off of it is very lazy.

The crotch area looks like panties on the outside... One thing I like about O'Neal, they have stayed true to their roots through all of these years. While you can't blame some of the other companies for going mainstream, I will always support a company like this.

was just about to say this.. Looks like a few other companies are following suit too, Fly has a set of one solid colour and the TLD team had just plain black pants on at straight rhythm that I bet you'll be able to mix and match

Maybe hiring a good designer would be smart too.

True, with just a little more effort, maybe pants highlighted by one of any of those colors, they would work with all jersey combinations. I do like their stuff and even with this, I still think it looks good.

The O'Neil gear looks awesome...I love their colors and combos. I was an O'Neil rider in the 80's and 90's...loved their gear then and love it still today. I'll never forget how I got my sponsor with them. I was racing 60's at the old world mini track in Las Vegas in the 1980's and as I pulled off the track after one of my motos, I think I finished 3rd, Jim O'Neil pulled me and my parents to the he side and offered me a sponsor. I told him I had just recieved an offer from JT a couple months earlier and he told me he'd beat their deal...he gave me some new gear to wear for the week. A few weeks later I recieved a contract in the mail... I rode for them for years. Sorry for the nostalgia, this thread brought back a few good memories.

I've been wearing the Fly universal jersey for this reason. When I replace my pants the jersey still matches.

Haha, whoops. what can I say.... It was early in the morning when I typed that and I was still half asleep. For whatever reason my phone keeps going to O'Neil instead of O'Neal. Even when I just typed it correctly it changed to the incorrect version. Oh well, even if I can't spell it I still have some pretty cool memories...apolgies for the misspelling.
