on a 2018 CRF250? I need to see the area where the vin is stamped, not necessarily the actual vin or at least not all of it. 450 would probably work too. Got a friend who may have gotten scammed on a stolen bike.

Here is a pic of a 2017 450 from ebay
Doesn't show it good. Found another that is better but would still like a in focus shot of a vin block on an 18.
I'll be passing a Honda dealership tomorrow afternoon if nobody's gotten you what you're looking for by then I'll stop and snap a pic

If you can’t read the VIN from your own pic, how do you think he will? lol

Yep, he got boned. They even retextured the frame where they removed the original vin before they restamped it. Crafty fuckers.

That sucks. I take it he got a great deal but got no paperwork with the bike?

Wow, that really sucks.
Edited Date/Time:
This is getting to be fuckin ridiculous. Asshats are robbing people of their bikes then re selling them as legit.
Why can’t they use that energy for something positive.
Let’s see their work Newman....show us the pics.

I was gonna say that what are those chances with all 4s , but damn does it look legit.
My post is my opinion. If you don't agree with it, I'm OK with it.

When you say modified, you do mean Photoshopped or altered on a computer, correct? I think there may be some confusion in this thread.
Sorry to hear that someone got ripped off.
There's so much stealing of moto's, reselling, robberies when going to look at one etc that you start to think it's just not worth it anymore

It’s one of many reasons I just buy new bikes and put insurance on them.

I used MS paint to alter my VIN to have all 4s as the last 6 digits. But that is of my frame and VIN.

I didn't realize Paint was that capable. Looks pretty legit.

That sucks man. People are garbage. I hope you guys can catch the bastards. This is why I won't buy a used bike without a title, and without calling in the VIN number first.
