* One more win would do it. It could have happened last year, but didn't.
* Can Tomac surpass Carmichael's SX win record @ 48?
* Can Tomac surpass Stewart's SX win record @ 50?
* Can Tomac surpass McGrath's.......... FUGGEDABOUTIT !!!

The Shop
I'll make the call now, tomac will have 52 wins and 3 titles by the end of the next season.
I think he's a chance to jump Ricky and James too. But not exactly a sure thing.
Why don't they leave the current bike alone?
Sometimes they fiddle with a bike just to be fiddling (and make it worse).
It's not exactly a revolutionary set of changes.
I also suspect he may ride the world SX series next year instead of the Nationals. Something new and unique. I bet they throw a huge amount of money at him.
Pit Row
Best ever Era of SX right there!
It's crazy to think there are probably 4 titles that very likely could have been in his cabinet too... the 3 SX chips in 17/18/19 and the 15 outdoors. He's already got 7. That would have been 11 and very rarified air. RV has 9. RC has 15.
Also will be super interesting to see how the new bike impacts his thought process. The new team obviously refreshed things for him, if the bike is super good, an improvement over what he has...
Since his arrival at Yamaha is a completely different man and his riding shows it, no Eli weirdness.
If he had his comfort and confidence he has now through out his whole career he'd break some records.
Yes that.
Definitely the pinnacle of SX to date. But Tomac belongs in that company, legend.
