Seeing he's now Kawi's number one rider... who thinks he can win the championship on that bike?

If not what does he need to do it?

PED's?

Full tank of fuel!!!!

He seems like a great guy, nothing against him, but this day and age he's top 10 if he's lucky.

Heavy List and sure I'm missing someone...

Occasional top 5s. He'll be bummed that Southwick is gone.
This is my bet but he surely has learned some new tricks on Canada. Could be a long shot wildcard.

I think he has the experience for a full season, others will wipe-out

He's now the number one rider ( not 2 like he has been on a team),

been training outdoors only,

did well at the few rounds last year on a standard bike with good suspension.

At least hes a shot at GH as he has a lot of testing there

Either way how good is the season looking with Villo out?

Maybe not the championship, but a couple races sure. He isn't burnt out from a complete season of supercross and is coming into the outdoors fresh and hasn't had to switch bike brands in the process.

I think he'll be carrying the Kawi load if/when Jake gets hurt. Metcalfe is a mentally tough animal, and that's what Kawi needs.

A very respectable top 10 is my guess.

I saw Metcalfe practice at GH recently, and he is going faster then he did in 2011 on the factory Suzuki.

Dont forget Brett won a moto last year at the Mxdn Qualifier over Cairoli, on a modified stock KXF 450

And now he has the factory Kawasaki... I dont know how people are writing him down to only top ten or worse?! Who has had a better start to the MX season this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a moto or 2. The guy will be there all year. Easy top 5 in points.

I think he can win Motos if everything goes perfect, which is easier said than done. I believe he will get a few podiums for sure. Top 5 in points if he can finish every moto. He'll be the story of the nats and get a factory ride for 2015. Metcalfe, Reed, and Dean Ferris can certainly contend for the MXDN win, if they stay healthy.

Top championship, multiple podiums but it's a long shot for a win... But if he does I'll be loving it just like most people should

Metty's good to go, but Bam Bam ( Bob Jr.) is ready to go kick some ass outdoors in 2014! God Bless The USA.

I think he was burned out while at Suzuki, the Canadian Nats seemed to have rejuvenated him a little. He could be a surprise but I'm guessing he'll run 8th - 15th.
