How about I put up $50.00 to your $250.00? Should be an easy way for you to win $50.00.

Yes he can. He was only a thrown chain from repeating his SX title.

Ive got to say I like dungey, but watching both dungey and villopoto.s careers for years, dungey has seriously never had anything for villopoto.I dont even think I can remember seeing him pass villopoto unless villopoto crashed at the start.

Yep.. I think a few people have let that sink in yet. Without the chain, he "could" of been the SX champ.

I think RD will repeat with an Outdoor Championship.

I think he and RV will be the top runners and I just am not convinced that RV will make it through all the rounds without a few bad mishaps.

Gonna be a great season though.

Can he? Absolutely.

Will he? We will find out starting Saturday.

Remember, everyone discredited him at the start of SX too.

Dungey set the bar in last year's MX series. He only gets stronger as the race gets longer. RV, Canard and Pourcel can run his pace but my thought is that Dungey has the confidence and the #1 plate to repeat as the 2011 MX Champion. Would love to see Alessi step it up on a 450f and join this group of top five riders. Stewart is going to miss one of the greatest outdoor series in years. Maybe he'll give everyone a one race lead and come back and hit the tracks.

Anyone who rules this kid out obviously doesn't follow the sport very closely.

You don't remember the end of 2008 outdoors? or the 2010 SX championship?

You're gonna have to pry this one from him. I think a lot of them are still battered and bruised from sx.He's just getting started.

If James didnt crash, he'd have beat them all too.

As long as RV2 and CP are racing, Dungy has no chance.

Wow.....I don't believe you can count out any of the top guys. Especially as strong as what RD finished last year. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see either RV , RD , CP , Reed , Metcalf , Hahn , JW up on the box......with one of the first 4 guys winning it.

We'll know a little more after tomorrow.

How about this...

I'll put up $10,000 to your $10 that 'mx7mx' or James Stewart doesn't win the championship.

I will start by saying this, Dungey is not my guy. However, he has a good a chance as anyone, on top equipment, to win. There are too many variables to list, but, that is why they race. Otherwise it would be sports entertainment. That being said, my hope for the title is........Reed, or RV2, or anybody but that hard-working, likeable Mr. Dungey.

Has history taught you nothing? The RC days are over. Dungey most certainly has a shot at repeating.

if RV didn't DNQ, RD's thrown chain wouldn't of mattered.
Both were out of their control.

I don't believe he will.
But I don't doubt it won't be close.

I'm not a gambling man, but if I was, I would put the cash on Dungey winning the championship. I say that because I think he believes the RC theory the most, that you don't have to win the battles to win the war.
Every time I think of Dungey, I think of the quote that someone said last year that was something like "Every time Dungey wins, I hope some kid pulls up his pants and puts his hat on straight"

I'm waiting for all the haters to say Dungeys career is over if he doesn't win at Hangtown.

This isn't about a bet... just trying to shut the fucking idiots up that say that Dungy has "no chance".

Nyk Wey has a chance to win the championship...right now!

Shoulda coulda woulda. RV was one DNS away from wrapping up the title early.

I hope to see RD charging hard but it's gonna be a long summer and RV is in fantastic physical condition and is rolling into Hangtown with a fresh title, no injuries and something to prove.
