Anyone else notice Cameron's name in the XC1 class results from Ironman GNCC this past weekend?! A bit surprised Geico Honda let him do that...???

I noticed Enduro GP rider Pascal Rauchenecker winning XC2.
Maybe looking for alternatives to Enduro GP since it's looking like Husky/KTM won't field a team for it next year.

McAdoo, Osby, Renzland all raced. Was actually impressed with Renzland. His bike broke right off the start, fixed it and finished around the top 50. Mcadoo was top 100, looked like a fish out of water, ran without handguards, but finished. Osby was way back. The 3 hour races are no joke. Generally have a good turnout of moto guys at Ironman isn’t really woods riding, it’s more or less a giant path cut through the woods. Not really all that gnarly compared to the other rounds. Also had an industry expert class with Troy Lee, Jason Raines and Casey Lytle all showing up. 900+ riders in the morning class. Off-road continues to grow on the national stage, simply awesome!

McAdoo got a flat, pitted and fixed it and still finished. Respectable.

Mcadoo has it on his Instagram and I think it’s awesome. Joey crown has done a few district 14 harescrambles and actually won the overall at a few from the B class

I helped getting Luke to do this race. Talked with him at ironman mx. Had a buddy with a sponsor that had a bike and I got ahold of him and his manager Kenny day, they both came down raced and had a good time. Max lee and Troy also raced. Troy said it will be a new tradition for him to come race the Ironman gncc. Absolutely fun time if you love riding your bike in the woods

Yup rbsr took out a out 4 guys, which is not ideal. I dont understand how these moto guys can ride only on a track and not get out into the woods for a bit its gonna help them become a befter rider and its fun.

Osborne did some woods riding and quit. If I remember right he said something to the effect of: it hurt his sprint speed and technique for moto.

He did some WORCS races I'm not sure if he had turned pro yet or not.

I think he stopped doing them because Husky won't let him.

He looked pretty good at Matterly, perhaps his time riding offroad helped him?

Husky wouldnt let ZachO do any GNCC's and Star wont let AP do them either. Jordon Smith showed up to a MidEast race and went 2nd overall on his Geico supercross practice bike. A lot of these guys like running offroad to mix it up every now and then, whether the teams will let them is another story.

That statements actually not true a quick Google search will show you that Zach ran a few GNCC Racer X actually interviewed him about it. Not sure why he got to run XC 2 , pro motocross racer supposed to run XC 1 maybe the rules have changed since he ran them.

Just noticed you said husky you're right he was with Geico when he ran them.

You can actually race XC1, XC2 or XC3 as a current Pro Motocross license holder... But obviously you have to fit into the current XC2 age rule.

Osborne is aged out of XC2, but he raced it before the age requirement was added.
