No idea what happened to Martin, How many times missed what was going on between Kenny and Ryan. At least at the end they finally stuck on the lead battle...

He was watching NASCAR on fox.

I had my xpad on live t&s and would see 94 reel him in and be yelling at the tv.

Piss poor really.

I watch all kinds of motorsports and this is the only one that can be counted on to miss passing.

Man, you guys beat me to it! I was watching the lap board and I could see when KR was catching RD, and the camera was on Barcia or Weston or somebody behind Reed, several times. Somebody needs to step up and call whoever the race video director is out on this issue.

Asleep? Not that I know of.

I can confirm that someone in that group was really crabby tonight, though.

For the time they were on Anderson/Baggett instead of the leaders I thought the director actually knew his stuff since you knew it was 50/50 something was gonna happen.

Is it that they don't have enough cameras? And with the go pro deal why doesn't every rider have a bike camera and a rider camera on them? Front and rear fender mounted go pros give a cool perspective and gives an extra way to sell advertising. Seems a no brainier from a business standpoint.

NASCAR sells a number of in-car ad space with the camera and then the drivers sponsors get more tv time also

Not sure if you've noticed, despite what you saw at Atlanta, this isn't NASCAR.

You're going to have to explain your thought process here; I can't just take a statement like that at face-value.

Why not show the leaders in the big box and the battle for 5-6 or whatever position in the smaller box on the screen?

At every level of business there are service level agreements and scope of work details. They even have picture in picture and can't get it right. How is this even possible? Obviously the person responsible for these details has no clue about the event they are responsible for filming. The person who hired this individual should be fired. This will not happen of course and next week will be worse.

You mean you didn't enjoy 3 laps of RJ Hampshire in 7th while Jeremy Martin, who is 2nd in points, was crashing out and DNF'ing?

So, what did happen to Martin?

All I saw was a bike with dangling handlebars.

From my couch, in that long rhythm section after the start straight, it looked like he messed up on that triple on to the top of the table and crashed.

You mean this "big box"?

Why do we have a small box and a smaller box? I get it when it says Toyota or something for a few seconds, they sold that space. This border pattern just throws away screen size and drives me bat-shit crazy! USE THE WHOLE SCREEN!!!

That looked like the section he was in when they showed his mangled bike.

Bummer.

I feel your pain.

It's redickin' friculous.

Also, when they're using the whole screen, there's plenty of room down the left side to shoe ALL of the riders' positions.

I hate having to wait for it to shift to see where everyone is at, meanwhile, I'm missing what's going on on the track.

Or, at least, what ever the director decides I should be missing...

I have a feeling that the term....friends and family.....are a popular phrase in this industry!

I thought maybe the Geico gecko was going to show up riding double with him, " follow the race in the small box" brought to you by Geico.

I don't disagree, but I turn on live timing and watch that at the same time. The time is a little bit delayed (on TV), but I don't have to wonder what's going on.

You know mom, I'm sitting here looking at the Eiffel Tower Twinkle in Paris, chillin, and just felt the need to say, thank you for raising a good kid!
