Sounds like they are continuing their rivalry from last year, Desalle is not afraid to bang bars or put people down for the win.

At the end of last year especially in Latvia tempers were flared between the two, they went at it again for the win in the Qualifying heat at the Nations, with Cairoli not pleased at Desalle's wide lines, and now it seems with Desalle on a factory team, the rivalry has stepped up a gear and it's only Feburary

The thing is they could be fighting for the title in 2010...and the bad blood has already begun!

I'm looking forward to seeing Cairoli at the MXDN this year. I hope he stays upright and in the race. He's one fast guy!

Yea looking forward to see BT in the mix at the first 3 rounds. I wonder if he will be up with Cairoli, Desalle and co. from the first round, I would have thought he would have been over for some Pre- season races. He will be a big help to Albertson too.

Wonder what happened to Alessi? To much hype surrounding him going over there?

I really like Desalle, he seems really old school, aggressive and never quits. I remember watching him in Germany at the GP this year trying to pass coppins before the finish. He just hit the finish line jump so hard to try and make the pass with no way of landing it but as long as he got that pass he was ready to crash to get those couple of points.

Yeah INSANE
I remember standing at the side of the track watching it hoping he wouldn't make the pass which he didn't but after that effort he had another fan for sure. He just seems like a hard worker and wants it bad

Think that guy definateley lacks any sense of self preservation. 2 years ago in the French GP Philippaerts was championship leader and coming through the pack when he got held up by Desalle who was then on a small Suzuki team. Philippaerts got fed up being blocked and forced a move on the inside of on an off camber. He tried to block Desalle on the exit but Desalle just held it wide open and rode straight into him. They both went down like a sack of shit and I remember everyone looking on in disbelief like 'whos this total psychopath on the Suzuki!' He just hates getting passed, even when someones going a lot faster than him as soon as they try to pass him he gets very sharp elbows all of a sudden. I can see why Cairoli calls him 'dangerouse' but hes definateley fun to watch!
