Excuse me if this has been already posted, but apparently phillaperts is ok to ride now so AC will be riding the 250f according to ACs twitter. I can't wait to see how he gets on against JM and Tommy Searle but there is also a very good possibility of him beating all the 450s as well! Who will he be riding against , I can't remember is it mx1 or mx3?

It's going to be interesting to see how he goes but it's a damn shame that he isn't doing this while JH isn't healing and racing on a recent injury.

He'll be battling for moto wins no matter what bike he's on...

Well that sucks. He will win the MX2 class for sure, but I'd much rather see him in the MX1 class.

It'll be interesting to see how they do the gate selection for these two. If I were to guess I'd say Martin will get to pick first both motos and Cairoli will pick second. That's one of the many reasons the Des Nations are so hard to judge rider vs rider.

The track in Latvia is much more suited to a 250 than a 450. Cairoli wants bragging rights so he can say he beat Dungey while on a 250.

I'm pretty sure Cairoli just wants to do best for his country, but of course he wants to win. Bragging rights over Dungey? Least of his worries imo

Kind of like the 1987 mx des nations at Unadilla when The Hurricane raced a 125. Ward did not want to race the 125
but instead a 250. Johnson was on the 500 Honda. We won and Hannah did great on his Suzuki 125. It was a mudder
race with lots of attrition.
