Very sadly, we lost another fine young man last night, the result of a collision with a deer, on his street motorcycle.

RIP Ryan Longstreth. Too young you were . Know that your wife and daughter loves you very much.

My last moto ride on my land at age 57, nine years ago, I hit a deer, 6 or 7 broken ribs, both lungs punctured (one not too bad, the other required a chest tube).

But I guess I was lucky, sure didn't seem lucky at the time.

Damn, a hard weekend. Sorry about both Kurt and Ryan. I don't like this kind of news

bad deal. bummed out today.
talked with him for a while at the Indy dealer show.
he was excited that cycra was selling its business but he was staying on and they are expanding and growing.
crazy weekend for moto industry.

Stunned by this. I know Ryan as the guy who was willing to do anything and everything to help others, always putting their needs on his to do list and finding ways to help them chase their dreams.

Definitely tough to hear the news.

RIP Ryan.....last time we spoke at length was at SEMA 2011. Tragic events like the loss of Kurt Caselli and now Ryan should serve to remind all of us to appreciate everyday, don't sweat the small stuff (and it's all small stuff) and tell those we love that we love them and how much they mean to us on a regular basis.

Every day is a girt and tomorrow is not guaranteed.

We ran a Cycra vented number plate and vented from fender on Katie's bike at Loretta's. Ryan chased me down to ask if they sponsored her, I told him no, then he asked US if we would like to be sponsored by Cycra (I said absolutely!) The only national company to ever offer help without us asking. We usually only saw Ryan once or twice a year and he always recognized us, that meant a lot to a young girl racer (and her Dad). Godspeed Ryan you were one of a kind.
