As a technical exercise its pretty cool. I can see the potential.

I do love the exhaust. It is too bad MX bikes don't have a more integrated hidden exhaust like some sport bikes. Its highly cost prohibitive I would have to imagine.

As the total number of motocross bikes sold globally drop and the cost of 3D printing starts to come down I can totally see a good number of parts to be manufactured via 3D. They can be lighter because you can print webbing inside the tubes which you can't with traditional excursions, castings or forging.

There is a place in So Cal I did some work at that is developing this technology and have already made prototype motorcycle frames and nearly complete cars using 3D printing. They can print Ti, Aluminum, any kind of steel, carbon, you name it. It could be the wave of the future

Since Alta has closed shop, it's no longer possible to get Alta specific replacement parts. I have began creating 3d models and printing replacement plastic parts for the Alta community. Here's a lower chain slider i made.
