Hello, Service Honda used to make a CRF250RJr

For those not aware it is a 250 motor/engine fitted to a 150 Big wheel frame.

I am looking to find a used one or commission someone to build me one.

I would prefer electric start but the older ones dont do that.

Does anyone here know of a builder who could help me build one?

Big expensive project, I know.

Thanks in advance.

AJ, the man who did the conversions at Service Honda, opened his own gig after Service Honda closed. He's now doing 500AF conversions here: https://built500.com/

Try contacting him and see if he'll do a 250Jr.

I believe he still drops in here sometimes also.

I'd be curious to see it the other way around. 150r motor in the crf250 frame.

BBR once built a few big wheeled YZ250F powered bikes. Buddy had one, it was a bit too much honestly.

Way back in 04 we ran into this guy at this local arenacross practice track. He worked for bbr he was riding this cr125 powered big wheel. It was their aluminum frame kit they had that used cr80 parts.

He said it was actually a bit more difficult to ride than a stock 125. Even with the big wheel setup said it took more concentration to keep it from wanting to loop out.
