I guess street prices on meth are feeling the inflation as well.

I feel that way after selling my 92 500 for $1400 a few years ago lol. The buyers market is such a joke these days.

If I would have kept each 500 and each low hour 250 I’ve had, I could retire at the prices they are bringing now lol.

I've thought the same over bikes, parts and gear I've had over the years....

But, I wouldn't trade any of my current setup for any of my old stuff that was mostly ragged out.

Just like cars and trucks, I never get excited about the new one, but relief from getting rid of the old one lol

CR500s in particular seem to have really jacked up. Over the years I have seen many in nor cal converted to hillclimbers, and people seem to be after the engines for all sorts of projects.

Another one near you Gary, but listed out of LA. Yours looks better and was cheaper . . . err . . . less expensive.

Wow, that's a cool machine.
Had a feeling I should have held out awhile
longer, but who knew that these bikes would be getting top dollar! Woohoo

You and me both…sold my rebuilt top to bottom 02 CR250 with a spare engine, two spare cylinders/heads, spare power valve assembly, multiple spare power valve motors, spare forks, and a bunch of other parts for 3800 just prior to the COVID price stupidity, after one call in 6-8 weeks on multiple listings. If I’d have waited…

You do realize the price of lumber is way up? I’ll assume based on the fir bike stand, it also comes with a cord of wood. Hope your doing well, G-man.

I'm interested too that none of the 500 sellers mention thay still have the original books. That can be important to a collecter , just my thinking. 25k is probably a good start for any good condition water cooled red 500. Not selling mine at this stage but, I've kept all the books for my zero hour '01.
